All research articles published in “NPGC Intellectus” must adhere strictly to the plagiarism regulations prescribed by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The journal is committed to maintaining academic integrity and ensuring the originality of all submitted manuscripts. Any form of copying, unauthorized citation, or misuse of intellectual property is strictly prohibited.
Plagiarism is defined as the act of presenting another person’s ideas, data, language, images, tables, or research findings as one’s own without proper citation, acknowledgment, or permission.
Permissible Similarity Limits:

Note: The following are excluded from similarity calculations:
- References and Bibliography
- Properly quoted and cited text
- Common knowledge or standard terminology
Plagiarism Detection Process:
- All submitted manuscripts are screened using recognized plagiarism detection software (such as Turnitin.)
- The Editorial Board reviews the similarity report before making a final decision.
- Authors may be required to submit a revised version if necessary.
Author Responsibilities:
- The submitted manuscript must be entirely original.
- Proper citation and acknowledgment of all sources are mandatory.
- Prior consent of all co-authors is required before submission.
- Permission must be obtained for the use of copyrighted data, images, tables, or other materials.
Penal Provisions:
If plagiarism is detected after publication:
- The article will be removed from the journal/website (Retraction).
- The author may be barred from future submissions.
- The concerned institution may be formally notified.
